Henna Tattoo

Henna Tattoo
Here we have what can only be called a very intricate henna tattoo. One that covers nearly every square inch of this persons hand. A henna tattoo is not a real tattoo of course. If this one were a real tattoo this person would probably not have been able to use that hand for a few days after getting it. The pain and swelling would have been severe in most cases and bad in the best cases. But all in all this is a good piece of tribal style artwork. And I am sure it has some particular significance in the tribal world but it is not apparent to those of us who are not extremely familiar with such things.

I must admit that I first had a few different henna tattoos before I ever got a real one. The first one I got I did to fool my friends and told them it was a real tattoo and yes, it did work. Then the next few I did to sort of test the waters on tattoos that I was thinking of getting. And doing that gave me a good idea if I would really like them or not. One of those I did not get, the other one I did get. So henna tattoos can be of some help.

Henna Tattoo
Henna tattoos usually refer more to the ink used then the actual style or design of tattoos, though there is a particular style of tattooing made up of Eastern symbols and geometric designs that are called henna tattoos. The designs closely resemble those of traditional tribal designs. It’s a practice employing henna powder which is known locally throughout the Middle East and North Africa as ‘Henna’ or ‘Hene’. Henna powder that is used for henna tattoos is made from the crushed leaves of the Henna Plant, also known as Lawsonia Inermis. It’s a tall shrub like plant that thrives in hot and dry climates. To produce the finest quality henna powder the leaves are air-dried, out of direct sunlight, in order to preserve the staining properties. The dried leaves are then ground into a fine powder, ready for preparing henna paste. Historically, across all of the Eastern regions where women have traditionally hennaed each other, the application is often strongly linked with ceremonial & celebratory occasions, like weddings and religious festivals. Henna tattoos when they are properly done with henna ink are some of the most beautiful pieces of body art that you will ever see. It’s a style that will fit in with almost any other motif.

Heart Tattoos Design

Heart Tattoos
Probably The best way to show symbolism of love is the heart tattoo. However the heart tattoo is a symbol that possesses other meanings as well and not just love. Some individuals believed that the heart is the location of the soul. Some religions see the heart as a bed of emotions, while other religions consider the heart the spiritual center of the being. And as you can see from the various designs, there are different type of heart tattoos for different people. Heart tattoos are always a pleasure to look at because of their vibrant color and shapely design. Let’s take a look at some of the designs available, and not just the whimsical ones either. The first choice you have is the classic heart. It’s the classic symbol that you have seen in probably a hundred tattoos, usually with a banner that says ‘mom’ or something similar. The next choice you have is a Celtic heart tattoo. This design is known to stand for a union of souls, is a basic heart that is designed with intricate knots and gives off a true Celtic look. Another possible choice is the angel heart tattoo. This is usually a heart surrounded by wings. Sometimes these symbolize love or devotion to one’s faith, or perhaps represent a love for a deceased love one who they believe is an angel in heaven. And that’s only a small representation of the designs available. So, happy hearting..um I mean hunting!
Heart Tattoos
Here we have an image that gives us nine different versions of heart tattoos. And they range from hearts surrounded by vines to flowers, to a heart held by some sort of animal claw. A heart with devil horns and a devil tail and even a heart with a big steel knife sticking right through it. So even though there are only nine different heart tattoos here they pretty much cover the entire gambit of what can happen to a persons heart.

I never really understood why we consider the heart to be the center of our romantic insides. Why is it, that if someone breaks up with us we say our heart was broken? We all know that is not true, so why do we say it? And why do we feel it? Is it because our heart is the center of our physical life and therefore we make it the center of our emotional wellness, as well? I would suppose it is something like that. Either way getting one of these heart tattoos will probably mean your heart has been broken at least once. Welcome to the club. It happens to us all at least once, usually more than once.

German Text on Foot Tattoo Picture

This tattoo reads:

"gerade weil wir alle gleichen boot sitzen sollte wir heilfroh darĂ¼ber sein dass nicht alle auf unserer seite stehen"

Using one of those online translation tools I got:

"straight because we all same boat sit should we over it to be welfare glad that not all on our side to stand"

So my guess is that this means:

"Because we are all on the same boat, we should be glad that not everyone stands on the same side..."

Cool saying! Little heart at the end adds a nice touch to it.
